As we finish up here in Manila our hosts are taking us to the Mall of Asia for dinner and a fireworks show. We wish to thank them for all their work this week and the hospitality they have shown us.

Bug Man Stymied
One of our instructors has been stricken with a contagious bug even the Bug Man can't fix.As usual with this team, she continued to work through the illness. We wish her a speedy recovery!
Team Manila has been frantically overdosing on medication of rice and pork to fight off the bug. (See the new McDonald's new rice and pork treat.)

Soccer Injury Sidelines Star Instructor
A star instructor was sidelined today by a foot injury incurred in the final game of the Invitational Cup, played after review sessions yesterday. Unfortunately, the team lost 2-1.
Our brave instructor refuses to be held down by this and is completing surveys from home today. His full return to the team is expected as early as tomorrow.
Cheagle Added to IUCN List of Threatened Species
The World Conservation Union (IUCN) http://www.iucn.org, the world's largest conservation network, announced today that it will add the Cheagle to its 2007 Red List of Threatened Species.
Sadly the Cheagle's main food source, the Manila bug, has been virtually eliminated by the Manila Team. The Cheagle has suffered from a lack of substance in the BudaBest forest where the competitive talk is more posturing than relevant, meaningful reporting.
The Cheagle may be able to return to larger numbers by feeding on the Caesar Graziani Bug of Rome, the Silicon Bug of San Jose, or the Hibernating Bug of Columbia.
